Jake is really proud of his pasta sauce, so Iâll let him tell the story: About half a year ago I took it upon myself to learn how to cook pasta sauce from scratch.
Jake here.
Lisa just became our house mascot. Everyone knows that babies are constantly learning, taking in everything you do and using you as their model of what a human being should be (no pressure).
This is a sponsored post.
One of our favorite things to do is go on a road trip. It doesnât have to be anything fancy, just a couple days out of the house experiencing something new in a place we donât normally go.
Jake and I are incredibly lucky to have a baby like Lisa. Though she goes through her phases, we think she must be one of the easiest babies in the world.
Now that we have a baby girl in the family, Valentineâs day is never going to be the same. But much like how one candle that lights another does not diminish in brightness, sharing our love with our daughter will not take the romance out of our lives.
Fort DeSoto Park always makes me think of love. Not only do we photograph couples there all the time, we also spent a week camping there on vacation together back when we were dating.
Today Lisa turned 100 days old! I didnât know to celebrate the 100 days until my mother made a big deal of it, She  told me in Chinese tradition the 100th day of a childâs life is a big deal.
Iâm as guilty as anyone else of hopping onto Amazon for an hour or two on Black Friday, but I still prefer the feeling of gratitude and contentment that was with me all day on Thanksgiving Day.
