Just a quick update to say hello from London!

The outdoor and indoor markets in London are unbelievable. Walks in parks and rides on big buses have been the highlights of Lisa’s stay. And she’s really enjoyed trying Indian food, eating yummy cupcakes, goofing off in playgrounds (London has some of the coolest kiddie playgrounds we’ve seen), “talking” to other kids and visiting the Spitialfield city farm.

Our time in London are short (eight days), and we have spent most of it shopping and eating. Who knew that London would have the best vegetarian food we’d seen so far on our trip? After six months of travel, everyone in the family needed a little break, and that’s pretty much what we’ve been doing. Though we’ll probably regret backing off the photography a little during our time here, we have throughly enjoyed our down time.

It’s crazy to think that we’ll be celebrating our five year wedding anniversary in a few days. I feel like it was just yesterday when we decided to get married and start a new career, dreaming of traveling together and building a family. Where did the time go? This has definitely been the fastest five years in my life, but also the most rewarding both personally and professionally.

One more announcement, right after our anniversary, we’re going to spend the rest of the Summer tent camping in the UK and Ireland. It’s the first time we’ve tried camping with little Lisa, and the longest camping trip any of us have been on. It should be interesting.
